Overview

• Troopers received calls around 4:26 a.m. Saturday about a northbound crash just before Exit 23 on I-93 in New Hampton.
• The vehicle was a 2012 yellow Hino 258/268 box truck that crossed the median and over the crossover, struck an embankment, and came to rest in trees.
• The driver, identified as 21-year-old Anilton Resende Barros of Brockton, Massachusetts, sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
• Left travel lanes on both sides of I-93 at Exit 23 were closed for about four hours during cleanup and reopened just before 9 a.m.
