Overview

• Troopers responded around 4:26 a.m. Saturday to a crash on I-93 just before Exit 23 in New Hampton, New Hampshire.
• The driver was identified as 21-year-old Anilton Resende Barros of Brockton, Massachusetts.
• A preliminary review found he failed to negotiate a curve, sending the 2012 yellow Hino 258/268 box truck into the median, over the crossover, into an embankment, and into trees.
• Barros sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
• Left travel lanes in both directions were closed for about four hours for cleanup and reopened just before 9 a.m., and investigators ask anyone with information to contact Trooper John Zavala.
