• During the July 29 Hot Ones Versus episode, Bowen Yang joked he’d give Colin Jost and Michael Che the chop so he and Matt Rogers could anchor Weekend Update.
• Colin Jost and Michael Che have co-anchored Weekend Update since 2014, succeeding Seth Meyers and Cecily Strong.
• Yang joined SNL’s writing staff in Season 44 and became a featured cast member in Season 45.
