Overview
- A small silver ring with the date June 6, 1953 was found on Nov. 8 in the Gondolier Italian Eatery parking lot near Baseline Road and Foothills Parkway in Boulder.
- The woman who discovered it tried to locate the owner via social media, then turned the ring in to police on Nov. 17.
- Boulder police publicized the case on Dec. 15 with a photo and a holiday appeal, saying they are “hoping for a Christmas miracle.”

- The engraving also includes the couple’s initials, which police are withholding, and the 1953 date would mark 72 years of marriage this year if it is an anniversary.
