• CBS has scheduled Boston Blue to debut Friday, Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. ET and begins filming its pilot in Toronto.
• Bridget Moynahan will reprise her role as Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan in the spin-off’s premiere episode.
• Moynahan will also direct a first-season installment, extending her behind-the-camera work from Blue Bloods.
• Mika Amonsen has been cast as Sean Reagan, taking over the role previously played by Andrew Terraciano.
• The series centers on Donnie Wahlberg’s Detective Danny Reagan as he leaves the NYPD for the Boston Police Department and partners with Detective Lena Silver.
