Refunds are available at point of purchase for items covered by the latest FSA safety notices.

  • London Wholesalers Ltd recalled BOSS Sugar Free Persian Pistachio Nougat after Salmonella was detected, covering 300g packs from batch 140408 with a best-before of 9 September 2027.
  • The alert applies in England and Wales with a clear “do not eat” instruction and point-of-sale notices to inform customers.
  • The FSA warns Salmonella infection usually causes fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps and advises staying off work, school or nursery for 48 hours after symptoms stop.
  • Separate FSA notices this week include Tesco Free From Christmas cupcakes for undeclared milk and Young’s Gastro Lemon & Pepper Fish Fillets for undeclared mustard.
  • Further recalls name Brookie Bakes Dubai Bar for possible peanuts, The Bakewell Bakery mince pies for undeclared milk, Asda mini duck spring rolls for an incorrect use-by date, and Calbee chips sold at Lidl for undeclared mustard or celery.
