Bose Partners with Kith to Launch Ultra Open Earbuds

The new $300 earbuds, available in limited quantities from January 22, clip onto the ears, allowing users to hear ambient noise.

  • Bose has partnered with fashion and lifestyle brand Kith to release a new set of wireless earbuds, the Ultra Open Earbuds, which clip onto the ears and leave the ear canal open to let outside noise in.
  • The unique design of the earbuds makes them more of a fashion accessory than an audio wearable, and they can be worn with hats, glasses, or jewelry without any issues.
  • The earbuds offer up to seven and a half hours of playtime with Bose Immersive Audio for spatial sound and an additional suite of state-of-the-art technologies.
  • The Ultra Open Earbuds will be available for $300 on January 22 on Kith.com and in select Kith stores in extremely limited quantities.
  • The new earbuds are Bose’s boldest product in a long time, marking a departure from the company's recent products which have felt like rehashes with a few new tricks tossed in.
