Border Force Officer Among Three Charged Over 25kg Heroin Seizure at Birmingham Airport

The trio are due before Birmingham Magistrates' Court today following an NCA investigation into an alleged importation plot.

  • A third suspect, Shahid Butt, 52, of Saltley, Birmingham, was arrested in connection with the alleged offence.
  • All three are charged with conspiracy to import Class A drugs, with Shah and Butt also charged with money laundering, and are scheduled to appear in court this morning.
