• Principal photography concluded in early August after shoots at Pune’s National Defence Academy and climax scenes in Amritsar.
• The CBFC approved the “Date Announcement Teaser No. 1 – Border 2” on August 7 with a U/A 16+ certificate for a 70-second runtime.
• The first teaser will debut on August 15 across national multiplex chains, paired with previews of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2.
• The film entered post-production after the FWICE lifted its non-cooperation order, allowing Diljit Dosanjh to finish his scenes.
• Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh and starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and Medha Rana, is slated for a January 23, 2026 release.
