Overview
- BOOX announced on Wednesday that it is shipping the Note Air6 C now and will sell the Note Mini C and Palma 3 soon through the BOOX Shop and Amazon.
- All three devices run Android 16 and share upgraded octa-core processors, Bluetooth 6.0, and BOOX’s BSR high-refresh tech for faster, lower-latency E Ink performance.
- The 10.3-inch Note Air6 C is available at $579.99 and includes the BOOX Pen3 plus new V4.3 firmware features such as Dual Notes, Talk Insights AI meeting transcription and summaries, and OCR.
- The compact Note Mini C ($579.99, coming soon) targets one-handed productivity with an 8.52-inch Kaleido 3 color screen and a lightweight ~300 g, 6 mm-thin chassis, while the palm-sized Palma 3 ($339.99, coming soon) adds an anodized aluminum frame, 128 GB storage, a 16 MP camera, and optional InkSense Plus stylus.
- Wider implications: shipping Android 16 and Google Play access improves app compatibility and security but makes BOOX devices less distraction-free than single-purpose e-readers and can raise total cost when accessories like the Palma 3 stylus are bought separately.
