Boomerang Streaming Service to Shut Down, Content Moves to Max

Subscribers will transition to Max's ad-free tier at no additional cost, though some titles may not transfer.

Boomerang will cease operations on September 30, with most content moving to Max.
Subscribers will receive partial refunds based on unused subscription time.
Boomerang's linear cable channel will continue to operate in 26 million homes.
Max already hosts much of Boomerang's programming, including Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo.
The move follows the shutdown of other kid-focused platforms like Noggin.
