BookMyShow Files FIR Over Coldplay Concert Ticket Scam in Mumbai

The ticketing platform has reported unauthorized sales and identified 27 phone numbers linked to inflated ticket prices.

BookMyShow, the official ticket partner for Coldplay's Mumbai concerts, has filed a complaint against the black market resale of tickets.
The complaint, lodged with the Vile Parle Police, includes 27 mobile numbers involved in unauthorized ticket sales on social media.
Tickets for the concerts, scheduled for January 18-21, 2025, were reportedly sold at prices as high as ₹3 lakh.
Mumbai Police have initiated an investigation under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Information Technology Act.
Despite the ticketing controversy, BookMyShow assures that the Coldplay concerts will proceed as planned.
