BookMyShow CEO Ashish Hemrajani has been summoned multiple times by Mumbai Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) but has yet to appear.
The investigation was initiated after lawyer Amit Vyas accused BookMyShow of facilitating the black marketing of tickets, which were resold for up to ₹3 lakh.
COO Anil Makhija was interrogated for seven hours, while Hemrajani sent him in his place for the second summons.
BookMyShow denies any involvement with unauthorized reselling platforms and claims to have taken measures to ensure fair ticket distribution.
