Booba Drops Defamation Case Against Magali Berdah

The rapper's legal withdrawal follows a protracted feud over alleged influencer fraud and accusations of cyberharassment.

Booba has formally decided to withdraw a defamation lawsuit against Magali Berdah, with the decision set to be finalized in court on Friday.
The case stemmed from Berdah's 2022 public statements accusing Booba of orchestrating cyberharassment and endangering her and her family.
Booba, who has been living in the U.S., was charged in 2023 with cyberharassment for allegedly posting at least 487 messages targeting Berdah on social media over a year.
The rapper claimed his actions were part of a campaign to expose fraudulent influencer practices, which he said contributed to a new law regulating influencers.
Separately, 28 individuals were convicted in 2024 for participating in the coordinated online harassment of Berdah, but Booba denies any intent to harm her personally.
