Overview
- Disbursements follow a sector-by-sector calendar: Jan. 21, 22, 23 and 26 for ministries, regional governments and constitutional bodies as scheduled by Banco de la Nación.
- No registration is required, as the one-time allowance is deposited automatically through January payroll.
- To receive the benefit, workers or pensioners must be active, on paid vacation or on paid leave, with at least three months of service or a proportional amount if less.
- Eligible groups include staff under DL 276, public school teachers, university professors, health personnel, state laborers, armed forces and police, state pensioners and certain public servants under the private regime without a similar benefit.
- Contracted teachers and auxiliaries under Law No. 29944, and some university teaching staff, are scheduled to receive the payment in June rather than January.
