- Colaba and Azad Maidan police stations have registered non-cognizable complaints and opened probes to trace the calls, which preliminary tower data link to mobile numbers active near the Assam–West Bengal border.
- In Jaipur, police, CISF, anti-sabotage units, fire brigades and civil defence teams conducted exhaustive searches at Jaipur International Airport and the Rajasthan Chief Minister’s Office, confirming the email alerts as hoaxes.
