Bomb Threat Emails Hit Delhi Schools and IGI in Hoax Wave, Jammu Airport and Mumbai Station Targeted

Searches found no explosives, with cyber units now tracing the anonymous sender.

Overview

  • More than 300 Delhi school and institution addresses received identical threats around 6:08 a.m., with similar emails sent to the city’s airport.
  • The emails, signed by a group calling itself ‘Terrorizers111,’ claimed bombs were planted and warned of a “blood pool” if there was no response within 24 hours.
  • CRPF Public School in Dwarka and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya near Qutub Minar were searched by police, fire services and bomb squads, and nothing suspicious was found.
  • An anti-sabotage drill at Jammu airport and checks at Delhi’s IGI found no threat to operations, and Mumbai’s Dadar station bomb call also proved to be a hoax.
  • Police registered complaints and opened cyber investigations to identify the sender, citing an ongoing pattern of coordinated hoax threats against schools and public facilities.
