Boluarte Backs Eighth AFP Withdrawal as Congress Stalls on Debate

The Economy Commission has not advanced a draft despite warnings from MEF, BCRP and SBS about risks to the new pension system.

  • Presidential support does not enact the measure, so passage depends on Congress, where lawmakers are collecting signatures and pushing motions to prioritize a predictamen in the coming days.
