Bollywood Director Sanoj Mishra Arrested on Rape and Assault Charges

Sanoj Mishra, a prominent Bollywood director, was arrested on March 30, 2025, in Ghaziabad following intelligence gathering and surveillance by Delhi Police.
The victim, an aspiring actress, alleges that Mishra raped her multiple times over four years, promising marriage and film roles as manipulation tactics.
The victim also claims Mishra recorded obscene videos of her and threatened to leak them, in addition to coercing her into undergoing three abortions.
An FIR was filed on March 6, 2024, and the victim reaffirmed her allegations in a formal statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Investigators are gathering medical evidence related to the alleged abortions, and legal proceedings against Mishra are ongoing.
