Bollywood Actor Sharad Kapoor Accused of Sexual Harassment, Police File Case

A 32-year-old woman alleges inappropriate behavior by the actor at his Khar residence under the pretext of discussing a professional project.

Sharad Kapoor, known for films like 'Josh' and 'Lakshya,' has been accused of sexual harassment by a 32-year-old woman in Mumbai.
The woman claims Kapoor invited her to his home under the guise of discussing a project and then behaved inappropriately, including forcibly touching her and sending lewd messages afterward.
An FIR has been registered against Kapoor under sections 74, 75, and 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita by the Khar police on November 27, 2024.
The complainant alleges that Kapoor was unclothed during their meeting and attempted to hug her inappropriately before she managed to leave the premises.
Kapoor has denied the allegations, stating that he was unaware of the case and is currently not in Mumbai as the investigation continues.
