Overview
- Stadtwerke Dachau urged residents across its entire supply area to boil tap water after routine sampling detected coliform bacteria near Münchener Straße.
- The Dachau advisory covers the city including Obergrashof, parts of Bergkirchen (Günding, Im Lus, Kienaden, Feldgeding, Neuhimmelreich, Gröbenried) and specific addresses in Karlsfeld (Alte Bayernwerkstraße, Am Tiefen Graben, Bajuwarenstraße 6 and 8).
- The Forchheim health office ordered boiling for most households served by Markt Wiesenttal, exempting Rauhenberg, Draisendorf, Wüstenstein, Gößmannsberg, Voigendorf and Wohlmannsgesees.
- Officials instruct residents to bring water to a rolling boil and cool it for at least ten minutes for drinking, food preparation, produce washing, teeth brushing and wound care, while showering, laundry, dishwashing and toilet flushing may continue as usual.
- Investigations are ongoing, including 26 sampling points in the Dachau network and control tests in Wiesenttal, with no source identified and no all-clear issued yet.
