Overview

  • Boeing handed over 60 aircraft in June, marking its highest monthly total since December 2023.
  • Of the June deliveries, 42 were 737 MAX jets delivered to carriers such as Southwest, Alaska, and United.
  • The company’s 150 commercial jet deliveries in the second quarter represent its strongest Q2 performance since 2018.
  • Boeing booked 116 gross orders in June, resulting in 70 net placements and lifting its backlog to 5,953 aircraft as of June 30.
  • Production of 737 MAX jets remains capped at 38 per month under an FAA limit set after a 2024 safety incident, and CEO Kelly Ortberg is seeking approval to raise that rate to 42.
