• Pasco Sheriff's Office said it received a call around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 about a missing five-year-old who is autistic and nonverbal near Lake Lisa Park.
• When deputies reached the lake, they found the 17-year-old brother already in the water with his sister positioned on a tree branch.
• Body-camera footage shows a deputy sprinting to the water, jumping a fence, and positioning behind the teen to guide the extraction.
• The teen told the deputy his sister was awake and talking, and video captures her giggling as he frees her from branches and carries her to shore.
• Both children were brought out safely, and the sheriff's office publicly commended the brother for his courageous actions.
