Body Recovered from Skaguay Reservoir Amid Search for Missing Fisherman

Authorities await official identification and cause of death from Teller County Coroner's Office following the discovery.

The body was found at Skaguay Reservoir, approximately 20 miles southwest of Colorado Springs.
The discovery follows the disappearance of 76-year-old Fredrick Arnold, last seen on May 23 with his boat at the reservoir.
Search efforts were complicated by heavy vegetation in the 40-foot-deep reservoir, hindering sonar imaging.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers and the Teller County Sheriff's Office collaborated on the recovery.
The Teller County Coroner's Office will confirm the identity and cause of death.
