Overview
- Emergency services, including coastguard, fire, ambulance, dive and mountain rescue teams, conducted extensive searches across Loch Ore from Saturday evening into Sunday.
- The teenager’s body was recovered from the water at about 1:20pm on June 29 following the overnight operation.
- Temporary airspace restrictions barred all aircraft and drones over Lochore Meadows Country Park until 9am on Monday.
- Police Scotland have informed the boy’s family and say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
- A report on the incident will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal under routine legal procedures.
