Overview
- Noah Woods went missing after becoming separated from a relative at a playground in Merriam Close, Brantham, on Tuesday and was last seen on CCTV at about 2:37pm.
- Police have stressed Noah is vulnerable because he is non-verbal, has partial hearing loss, and is being assessed for autism, so he may not respond if called.
- A large multi-agency search used dog teams, helicopters, drones, coastguard units, specialist dive teams and hundreds of volunteers organised through the village emergency plan.
- Officers released CCTV and cordoned off Decoy Pond while conducting house-to-house enquiries and reviewing doorbell, CCTV and dashcam footage from around 3pm to trace Noah’s movements.
- Suffolk Police asked the public to quote CAD 203 when reporting information, to coordinate searches via the official centre for safety, and warned people not to undertake independent or hazardous searches.
