Body Found in Search for Missing Shropshire Man

West Mercia Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and formal identification is still pending.

  • Police and family launched a public appeal after 47-year-old Jianhua Wu of Market Drayton was last seen at about 3.45am on Sunday on the A49 in Shrewsbury between Preston Island and Sundorne Island.

  • Police described Mr Wu as a slim 47-year-old with dark-coloured hair who was last seen wearing a grey top and grey bottoms, and thanked the public for sharing the appeal.
