Body Found in Hemmingford Linked to Missing Woman Kelsey Watt, Man Arrested

Quebec provincial police have arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the disappearance of 29-year-old Kelsey Watt, whose body was discovered near her home.

The body of a woman was found in Hemmingford, Quebec, confirmed by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) on Thursday morning.
An autopsy has been ordered to confirm the identity and determine the cause of death of the victim.
Kelsey Watt, 29, was reported missing since Saturday and was last seen around 12:30 p.m. on Covey Hill Road.
A man in his 30s has been arrested and is being questioned by investigators regarding his potential involvement in Watt's disappearance.
Extensive search efforts were conducted by provincial police, specialized units, local firefighters, and the RCMP in the days leading up to the discovery.
