Overview
- The Bodoland Territorial Region secured 21 GI tags in two tranches on November 29, 2023 and May 31, 2024, covering attire like Dokhona, handloom crafts, musical instruments, cuisine, silk, horticultural produce and three traditional brews.
- A large Authorised Users registration campaign under the Chief Executive Member’s Special Initiative Scheme uses a mobile application to onboard over 100,000 artisans, farmers and weavers with access to schemes, training, marketing tools and legal protection.
