‘Bocchi the Rock!’ Season 2 Officially Announced with New Director

The hit anime returns with Yusuke Yamamoto taking over as director and a new promotional illustration celebrating its renewal.

CloverWorks has confirmed that 'Bocchi the Rock!' is returning for a second season, nearly three years after its debut in 2022.
Yusuke Yamamoto, who served as assistant director for Season 1, will step into the director's role, replacing Keiichiro Saito.
Keiichiro Saito stated that he stepped down due to creative and workload concerns, not because of his involvement in other projects like 'Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.'
A special promotional illustration by Yusuke Nakamura, known for his work with Asian Kung-Fu Generation, was unveiled to celebrate the announcement and the Kessoku Band 'We Will B' tour.
No release date has been announced for Season 2, but the original voice cast and studio will return, with expectations of more complex musical animation.
