Boca Raton Plane Crash Kills Three, Injures One on Ground

A Cessna 310R experienced mechanical issues shortly after takeoff, leading to a fiery crash near Military Trail as investigations continue.

The crash occurred on the morning of April 11, 2025, shortly after the plane departed from Boca Raton Airport en route to Tallahassee International Airport.
All three passengers aboard the Cessna 310R—Robert Stark, 81; Stephen Stark, 54; and Brooke Stark, 17—were killed in the crash.
One person on the ground, identified as Pablo Tafur, 24, was injured after his vehicle was impacted by debris and fire, but he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The plane exhibited erratic flight behavior and attempted to return to the airport before crashing near Interstate 95, scattering debris onto nearby roads and train tracks, causing transportation disruptions.
