The film, directed by Moses Bwayo and Christopher Sharp, tells the story of Ugandan pop singer-turned-politician Bobi Wine, who challenged his country's dictator for leadership.
Asmae El Moudir won Best Director for her work on The Mother of All Lies, a film that examines her family history and a significant event in Morocco's history.
Ants Tammik won Best Cinematography for Smoke Sauna Sisterhood, and Leonard Küssner won Best Original Music Score for Anselm.
The Pare Lorentz Award went to In the Rearview, a film about Ukrainian civilians fleeing across the Polish border following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
