Bobcat Attacks Sleeping Camper in Connecticut, Is Killed

A bobcat attacked a man sleeping in a hammock while leading a youth camping trip in Connecticut.
The man and two other adults were able to subdue and kill the attacking bobcat.
None of the children on the camping trip were harmed.
The three men received medical treatment for their injuries from the encounter.
The remaining campers were evacuated from the island in Selden Neck State Park.
