  • Sherman succumbed to stage 4 cancer on June 24 at age 81 after his diagnosis was made public in March.
  • He rose to fame in the late 1960s with Billboard top-10 singles including “Little Woman,” “Julie, Do Ya Love Me,” “Easy Come, Easy Go” and “La La La (If I Had You).”
