Bob Team Member Simon Wulff Suspended Following Doping Test Irregularity

Simon Wulff, a key bobsleigh pusher for Francesco Friedrich's team, has been provisionally suspended by the German Bobsleigh Federation (BSD) following an irregular doping test result.
The substance detected in Wulff’s sample is permitted during training but prohibited in competition; the exact substance and timing of the test remain undisclosed.
The international anti-doping body ITA is managing the case, and no formal suspension has been issued yet, with the B-sample analysis status unclear.
Wulff, who joined Friedrich's team this season, has achieved significant success, including two World Cup victories in the two-man bobsleigh event.
If the doping allegations are confirmed, Friedrich’s team could face penalties, including losing World Cup points, which might affect their qualification for the World Championships in March.
