Ottawa’s National Gallery will name a new Rennie family space

  • The gift includes 61 contemporary works by artists such as Ai Weiwei, Mona Hatoum and Dan Graham alongside a 40-piece Rodney Graham collection.
  • The Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board valued the donation at $22.8 million and Rennie covered all evaluation and shipping costs.
  • The gift comes with no exhibition stipulations, granting curators freedom to lend or deaccession pieces.
