Bob Huggins Claims He Never Resigned as WVU Head Coach, Demands Job Back

Bob Huggins, former West Virginia University men's basketball coach, asserts that he never formally resigned from his position following a DUI arrest and suspension.
Huggins' attorney sent a letter to WVU threatening legal action unless Huggins is reinstated as head coach.
The university claims that Huggins clearly communicated his resignation both verbally and in writing.
Huggins received a three-game suspension in June for making offensive comments during a radio interview.
Huggins is the third-winningest coach in Division I history and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.
