BMW Unveils Updated iX SUV with More Range, Power, and Lower Entry Price

The refreshed 2026 BMW iX features new trims, advanced technology, and design enhancements, starting at $75,150.

The 2026 BMW iX introduces a new entry-level xDrive45 trim priced at $75,150, over $12,000 less than the outgoing base model.
The updated iX boasts increased range, with the xDrive60 offering up to 340 miles and the M70 delivering up to 302 miles on a single charge, thanks to improved battery technology and silicon carbide inverters.
Performance sees a boost across all trims, with the xDrive45 generating 402 hp, the xDrive60 reaching 536 hp, and the M70 producing 650 hp with a 0-60 mph time of 3.6 seconds.
Design updates include a restyled illuminated kidney grille, redesigned headlights, and new interior features like BMW’s OS 8.5 with video streaming and in-car gaming capabilities.
Production begins in March 2025, with deliveries expected in Q2, as BMW aims to regain market momentum following a dip in iX sales last year.
