Overview

• The launch iX3 50 xDrive uses dual motors rated at about 345 kW (469 bhp) and 645 Nm for 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h.
• A 108.7 kWh cylindrical‑cell battery delivers a WLTP range of 679–805 km with 400 kW DC charging that can add roughly 372 km in 10 minutes and reach 10–80% in about 21 minutes.
• The new electronics backbone features four high‑performance “superbrains,” including the “Heart of Joy” controller that integrates drivetrain, braking, steering and recuperation for up to 98% regen in daily driving.
• Panoramic iDrive debuts with an A‑pillar‑to‑A‑pillar Panoramic Vision display, a 17.9‑inch central screen and an optional 3D head‑up display, plus bidirectional charging capability.
• Series production starts at BMW’s fossil‑free Debrecen plant in autumn 2025 with Europe deliveries in spring 2026, the U.S. in summer 2026 and a China‑specific version from Shenyang mid‑2026, with European pricing reported at €68,900.
