Overview
- BMW’s iX3 50 xDrive is available to order now with German deliveries expected from March 2026, according to newly published guidance.
- The iX3 50 xDrive is rated at 345 kW (469 hp), 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, a 210 km/h top speed and up to about 805 km WLTP range.
- Pricing in Germany starts at €69,800 for the base iX3 50 xDrive, €72,700 for the M Sportpaket, and €75,400 for the M Sportpaket Pro.
- BMW CEO Oliver Zipse confirmed the next-generation electric 3 Series will be called i3, will be presented in spring 2026 and will be built in Munich.
- BMW will reserve the “i” prefix for EVs and split the next 3 Series lineup, with the i3 on the dedicated Neue Klasse EV platform and combustion models on an optimized version of the current architecture, with interiors expected to feature a 17.9-inch central display and retained physical controls where needed.
