Overview

  • The iX3 uses dual electric motors delivering over 300 kW of power and 600 Nm of torque for a sub-5-second 0–100 km/h sprint.
  • An 800-volt battery architecture with cylindrical cells boosts energy density by up to 20 percent and supports 400 kW DC charging for 350 km in 10 minutes.
  • Early drives in southern France confirmed a WLTP range of about 800 km and showcased a balance between agile handling and ride comfort.
  • A ‘Panoramic Vision’ display projects driving data across the windshield and advanced driver-assistance features include automated parking and hands-free highway driving up to Level 2++.
  • Manufacturing will begin in a new Debrecen, Hungary plant with battery cells from CATL and Eve and electric motors produced in Steyr.
