BMW Group Q3 Sales Rebound, With MINI Surge and Plug-In Hybrids Leading Gains

MINI’s renewal coupled with plug-in hybrid demand powered the group’s late-year momentum.

Overview

  • The core BMW brand delivered 514,620 vehicles in Q3 2025, up 5.7% year over year, lifting year-to-date sales to 1,585,580 units, up 0.1%.
  • MINI shipments jumped 37.5% to 72,376 in the quarter, taking year-to-date volume to 206,214 vehicles, up 23.7% across all regions.
  • Plug-in hybrids rose 30.2% in Q3, while fully electric deliveries edged down 0.6% to 102,864 but remain up 10% year to date at 323,447.
  • Performance and ultra-luxury brands added higher-margin volume, with BMW M up 11% in Q3 to 52,220 cars and Rolls-Royce up 13.3% to 1,304 units.
  • BMW Motorrad delivered 53,247 motorcycles and scooters in Q3, up 5.7% for the quarter, and ALPINA’s official relaunch remains slated for after December 31, 2025.
