BMW says Superchargers now appear in vehicle navigation and the My BMW app, unlocking access to over 25,000 stalls across roughly 2,000 North American sites. Most current BMW EVs with CCS ports need a CCS-to-NACS adapter to use V3 and V4 Superchargers, with an official BMW adapter slated for sale in Q2 2026 and third-party options available now. Native NACS ports begin with the 2026 BMW i5 M60 and will expand to other 2026 models including the Neue Klasse iX3. BMW confirms the 2026 iX and 2026 i5 eDrive40 will require a remote software update planned for Q2 2026 before they can charge at Superchargers. Plug & Charge is supported at Tesla stations with sessions billed through the customer’s Shell Recharge account in the My BMW app, and pricing follows Tesla’s non‑Tesla rate structure.
