BMC Finalizes 10,231 Polling Stations Across Mumbai for Jan. 15 Civic Elections

  • The final ward-wise list for all 227 wards has been published under State Election Commission guidelines, with voters urged to verify their assigned locations in advance.
  • Of the 10,231 stations, 4,386 are in government and semi-government buildings, 702 in cooperative housing societies, and 5,143 in private buildings.
  • Stations include enclosed, semi-enclosed and open setups tailored to local conditions to support smooth operations across the city.
  • Facilities will include ramps, electricity, drinking water, toilets, and nearby voter assistance centres for persons with disabilities, senior citizens and women.
  • A total of 1,03,44,315 electors are registered for the polls on January 15, with vote counting scheduled for January 16.
