Overview

• Work to upgrade 100 kW electrical meters will be carried out daily from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm at the Thane-based plants.
• Island City areas listed include A Ward (Colaba, Cuffe Parade, Fort, Marine Drive, Nariman Point), B Ward (Masjid Bunder and nearby), E Ward (Byculla, Agripada, Nagpada, Dockyard Road, Reay Road), F-South (Parel, Lalbaug, Lower Parel, Hindmata) and F-North (Sion, Matunga).
• Eastern suburbs to see reduced supply include L Ward (Kurla East), M-East (Govandi, Mankhurd, Trombay, Cheeta Camp, Deonar Municipal Colony, Anushakti Nagar), M-West (Chembur West), N Ward (Ghatkopar, Vikhroli), S Ward (Bhandup, Kanjurmarg, Nahur, Vikhroli East) and T Ward (Mulund).
• BMC has advised residents in the affected wards to store sufficient water in advance and use supplies judiciously during the three-day period.
• Officials indicated the 10% reduction will apply across the specified areas on all three days while the upgrade work proceeds.
