Horror Production Powerhouses to Operate as Separate Labels Under Three-Way Ownership

Horror production giants Blumhouse and Atomic Monster have officially merged, with Jason Blum, James Wan, and Comcast as the three-way owners.
Despite the merger, both companies will continue to operate as separate labels, each maintaining its own creative autonomy and brand identity.
The merger is expected to increase the combined output of both companies, with Atomic Monster set to utilize Blumhouse’s existing infrastructure to scale its activities across film, TV, and new content areas.
The companies have collectively grossed over $11.6 billion worldwide since 2004, with horror projects making up the majority of that total.
The first project under the merged entity, a supernatural horror film titled 'Night Swim', is set to hit theaters on January 5th.
