Overview
- Blue Origin scheduled NG-3 for no earlier than late February from Launch Complex 36 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
- The mission will deploy AST SpaceMobile’s BlueBird 7 to low-Earth orbit, replacing the previously expected Blue Moon lander payload.
- The flight will refly the NG-2 booster named “Never Tell Me The Odds” after its November droneship landing, marking New Glenn’s first booster reuse.
- Blue Moon Mark 1, the uncrewed lander dubbed Endurance, was sent to NASA’s Johnson Space Center for thermal vacuum testing, and no launch date has been set.
- The target window falls in a busy period that could feature NASA’s Artemis II activity, SpaceX Starship testing, and a NASA/SpaceX Crew-12 mission to the ISS.
