Overview

• The new season debuts on Monday 29 September at 9pm on BBC One, with all six episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer.
• The storyline shifts from street gangs to a middle-class underworld where accountants, lawyers and private clubs help facilitate organised crime, with international networks in the background.
• Siân Brooke, Katherine Devlin, Nathan Braniff, Martin McCann and Joanne Crawford return, joined by Cathy Tyson as Dana Morgan and Michael Smiley as intelligence officer Paul “Colly” Collins.
• Set two years into the officers’ careers, the series digs into grief, trauma and relationships as the characters question why they stay in the job.
• The six-part run follows the show’s BAFTA win this year, and the BBC has already commissioned a fourth series.
