  • Daulton Varsho pulled up with hamstring discomfort on May 31, was diagnosed with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain and officially went on the 10-day injured list June 1
  • Myles Straw will start in center field and bat eighth for Sunday’s series finale against the Athletics
  • Toronto recalled utilityman Davis Schneider from Triple-A Buffalo, activated reliever Erik Swanson from the 60-day IL and optioned left-hander Easton Lucas back to the minors
  • Varsho had returned from September 2024 shoulder surgery and was batting .207 with eight home runs and 20 RBIs in 24 games before the injury
  • Despite losing their Gold Glove center fielder, the Blue Jays have extended their winning streak to five games thanks to continued offensive firepower
