Blue Jays Eyeing Padres' Juan Soto and Other Top Players for Potential Trades

Other potential trade targets for the Blue Jays include Max Kepler and Jorge Polanco from the Minnesota Twins, Jonathan India from the Cincinnati Reds, Eloy Jiménez from the Chicago White Sox, Pete Alonso from the New York Mets, Mike Trout from the Los Angeles Angels, and Tyler O’Neill and Dylan Carlson from the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Padres are likely to trade Soto due to multiple holes to fill, particularly on the pitching staff, and limited room in the budget to address them.
Six teams, including the Yankees, Blue Jays, Giants, Cubs, Mets, and Mariners, have been identified as potential suitors for Soto.
The Blue Jays may have to trade two to four players, potentially including top pitching prospect Ricky Tiedemann, to acquire Soto.
